Silent Saturday
Learning to buckle is hard work.
(PS- I am a stickler for car safety and the fact that the buckle was twisted drove me crazy. But she was focused so I waited until she asked for help before fixing it. Learning to buckle is hard work for moms too!)

I thought you should know how much I love your approach. I also believe Montessori can be implemented all though out our day-even with out materials!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's not always (or even most of the time) easy, but it is so worth it to work on life skills while living :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! I always felt frustrated in the school where I used to work, when I saw the big kids (5 & 6 yr olds) slouching in their car seats like wet rags and letting an adult buckle the belt. It's hard work to learn (and to let her learn), but it's rewarding work!! You and your daughter rock! :)
